Cheryl was elected to City Council in Nov. 2019.

Cheryl and her husband, Eric, moved to Mansfield in August, 1991 and have lived in the second ward since that date.  She was elected to the council seat and took office in January 2020.  In addition to holding the position of councilwoman, Cheryl has been a Realtor for 20 years and currently sells for Haring Realty.  Eric has been a teacher with Mansfield Senior High for 24 years.  They are proud to say they have raised two successful children in Mansfield.

In 2015, Cheryl started a Neighborhood Watch group after several area break-ins. The online watch group has grown to over 600 people and quarterly meetings are held with 30+ people in attendance.  Safety of her constituents is a big concern, so she is happy to be serving on the Safety committee with city council.
